From December 17 the Advent liturgy turns to the immediate preparation for Christmas, with the great “O Antiphons” at Evening Prayer.

First Mystery: The Resurrection
In Advent, the Joyful Mysteries are a natural companion any day.

“He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.”Matthew 28:6
On the third day Jesus rises gloriously from the dead. The angel at the empty tomb tells the holy women not to be afraid, and the risen Lord Himself meets them.
Fruit of the mystery: Faith
“O Wisdom” — the O Antiphon for December 17
O Wisdom, who came forth from the mouth of the Most High, reaching from end to end and ordering all things mightily and sweetly: come, and teach us the way of prudence.
Roman Breviary, Magnificat antiphon (translated for this app)
