Fifth Mystery: The Institution of the Eucharist

“This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”Luke 22:19
At the Last Supper, on the night before He suffered, Jesus takes bread and wine and gives His Body and Blood to the apostles as food and drink, the new covenant in His Blood.
Fruit of the mystery: Adoration
Regina Caeli
Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia. For he whom you were worthy to bear, alleluia, has risen, as he said, alleluia. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we pray, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, his Mother, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
